LEARN · BUILD · SHARE
Hi, I'm Rich Stefan.
I'm a systems and security admin learning to build apps and pages. I'm doing it in public, one build every weekend.
🚧 Site under constructionWhat I'm learning
- Web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python.
- AI: running models, local models and building agents
- Cloud: deploying and hosting real apps
How I learn
I'm treating this like a project, not a hobby: about 8 to 10 hours a week, a mix of courses and hands-on builds, and a short note every day on what I learned and where I got stuck. Writing it down here keeps me honest.
- Learn by building: every weekend ends with something that works
- Learn in public: share progress, mistakes and fixes
- Read along the way: books on learning, habits and focus
Builds
First up: this site, and a folder-sorter app that uses a local AI model. See all projects →
